The project will alleviate a major bottleneck on SH 360 at the Union Pacific railroad crossing where continuous frontage roads will be constructed and improve interchange operations for SH 360/SH 180 (Division Street).
The bottleneck will be alleviated by constructing a new railroad bridge with a rail capacity increase that will provide the proper width under the bridge to place both the frontage roads and new main lane pavements. The SH 180 bridge will be built just south of the current bridge minimizing impacts to Division Street traffic.
